    It's probable with all the media and propaganda going around, people who were'nt in a direct situation (In the holocaust/9-11) don't have any proof other than schooling and random sources or rumours. The government or whoever could easily take advantage of this if it weren't for legit photos, writing, documents, and people. Provided they are legit.
