Although I am married, I sit alone every evening alone with no one to talk to. My husband is 12 feet away in the dinning room watching another TV (sometimes the same station as I am). Could you sit alone night after night while your partner is that close?

I have been doing the same thing night after night. He comes home only to sit in the garage or on the back porch drinking beer and watching TV.. I will sit outside with him but when I do we dont talk anyway so I might as well be alone there too. Tonight (very cold outside) he came in from work and told me there was a football game on so I insisted he turned it on in the livingroom so I could watch it with him, not even 5 minutes later he walked into the cold garage and turned the game on out there. When I went out there he said he just couldnt sit in a recliner until his legs relaxed from standing all day at work, said he wasnt making excuses.. thats funny because during the summer time in Texas he cant come inside because he has been hot at work all day and the cold AC would make him sick. I wish I knew the answer but I am just as alone here. I have tried the going out by myself thing but it backfired and he just went to the bar and stay out later than me.

so sorry u ladies are going thru that...hmmm!!! wish i had answers sometimes its the same way wit me and my hubby but not as bad..he will come from work and play his games for hours and i will b downstairs alone by myself at times..it gets boring and lonely at times! i will go upstairs and ask him to watch a movie and he will say later but later turns to never cuz he to busy on his game and when he finally gets off of it...it b soooo late and i be headed to bed!! sometimes i think he do it on purpose
