  • The bones are too brittle and cause a choking hazzard. Much like I love to do, here's a random tidbit of information to express the dangers of fish bones Inuit peoples (eskimoes) use fish to kill polar bears in an interesting manner, they will catch a fish and fold it in half, then freeze it. They use it as a bait and the bear eats the fish, when the fish thaws out in the bears stomach/throat, the fish springs back to normal shape and the bones shred the bear from the inside and kill it. moral of the story, don't feed frozen fish to your dog, don't feed frozen fish to polar bears, and most definately don't feed your dog to a frozen polar bear.
