  • I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is more illegal to sell a "replica watch" (read: cheap knock-off) than it is to buy one.
  • Absolutely not, replica watches means exact copy of the original watches but they are not being sold on the name of authenticated original watches. Replica watches are just copied style and technology of real one but they are replica not the original watches.. You visit a site for further details and purchasing "www.myreplicaz.com"
  • don't you think all kinds of goods have replica?
  • It would be illegal to produce and replica as the various watchmakers trademark their products. So, making the replica would be a violation of trademark laws. Selling the replica would probably illegal for a couple of reasons. First of all it is supporting the illegal industry that violates trademark laws. Second, the sellers usually don't tell the customer that they are buying a replica. The sellers usually try to pass them off as authentic. This constitutes a fraud. I don't know if it is illegal to buy such a replica, but I would say that doing so is of questionable morality because it is helping to support an illegal industry.
  • I agree
  • As long as it's slightly different.
  • Its cheaper... but if you look close it is usually spelled different or something
  • it's no problems the to purchase replica watches i usually buy online in www.21cnfashion.com
  • Ladies and Gentlemen, yes it is against the law to purchase replicated watches, more specifically if they are representing a brand name, and/or being sold under the name of a specific manufacturer. As an example, a replicated Rolex, detailed with the exact markings and identification tags of a real Rolex would be considered counterfeit. Only a ROLEX brand watch can display ROLEX copyright markings. If you buy a watch with ROLEX all over it, and it was NOT actually constructed and authorized by Rolex, its is a counterfeit, and the trade laws are very clear on this. Counterfeit/piracy laws in the US are severe in most cases, however, the chances of someone actually being prosecuted for purchasing a counterfeit/replicated watch is rare. However, since the industry is plagued with such pirates, companies use WHATEVER options to make an example of another. I have seen very good Rolex counterfeits/replicas, but your choice on whether or not its worth the risk. Remember if you buy online, you could be purchasing through a "sting" site which has be set up by US Government agencies to intercept counterfeit traders. Very risky my friends...you may get away with it, you may not.
