  • neither.
  • Jet Li has more skills than Bruce Lee. He also delivers a more potent punch. These 2 would do serious damage to each other but sorry to say, I think Jet would win!
  • im sticking with bruce, the amount of styles and the way he uses them, coupled with the fact that he was actually fighting not just doing the movie thing. jet is scrappy for sure but he cant hold a candle to Bruce lee
  • The viewer would win, thats who.
  • Jet Li...
  • Jackie Chan would run in when they were distracted and steal the final blows!
  • Who cares? Besides I believe one of them has been DEAD for 33 years, so it would be a rather one sided fight.
  • bruce lee...hands down
  • No no and no, jet li is perhaps a good fighter but he's films are full of special effect and so thing(i like that),but if someone here is really serious,he would agree that bruce lee is stronger than jet li.The both are not comparable, you are comparing a tv star with a master(don't forget that he develloped his own art,in which personnalisation is the strengh). In this art he teach that a method you work for someone muss not obligatory work with someone else, everybody has his own art to devellop. Sorry for my english,im from luxembourg.
  • Bruce Lee has a lot more speed and power than jet li(watch his two fingured push ups or his one inch punch).
  • bruce lee, he was a true master.
  • They would never fight. They were both trained not to do so. They would never meet in a match because they had different styles.
  • Flash Gordon.... No Tarzan
  • I believe neither of them would win. a REAL martial artist would walk in and take both of them.
  • Your question should be a bit more specific ... Bruce is dead, so he would have a hard time fighting ... but if you set aside the laws of the universe, time, life/death etc., and somehow get both to agree to a match while each one of them is at their finest peak condition, then it would still depend on the rules and conditions for a win ... if it were a Wu Shu match, Jet Li was far better and Bruce Lee would be "out of his style" and unable to maintain flawless "Wu Shu only" moves ... Anyway, I know what you meant ... in an all out fight to the death duel, probably Bruce would have won.
  • Bruce Lee is a legendary martial arts master. I believe he would win.
  • The audience!
  • I belive Jet Li would win, Just watch "Lethal Weapon 4" when he kicks both Danny Glover and Gibson's ass.
  • Bruce.
  • Bruce would win the fight physically, but Jet would get my vote for best dressed.
  • if you must ask, grasshopper,it means you have watched but your eyes did not see...the master would expose the imposter for what he truly is...*as he deeply bows* ...Master Lee...
  • I vote for Kato, AKA Bruce Lee. he was a phenomonon, not just a martial artist with stunt doubles.
  • Fuck Bruce Lee & Jet Li they are movie stars. Take a look at real Champions who would kick the shit out of Bruce Lee Jet Li Tony Jaa or Jackie Chan. • Jet Li admitted once in an interview that Bruce would probably beat him in a fight, but that still dosen't mean anything about who would win! And Jet even admits that any cosiderably skilled male would be able to beat him in a fight!! To me, an interesting fight never to happen, only played out in our imaginations.
  • Bruce Lee for sure
  • That, my friend, we will never know ;D
  • i think bruce lee is a master of kung fu, he is the king of martial arts but also jet li studied many kung fu styles, so his knowledge is more than bruce lee, bruce lee invented a very good style is jeet kun do and he is fast and powerful, bruce lee depend on his muscles while fighting and jet li depend on his brain, so i think if 2 of them fight each other probarly they will draw. no one can beat the another
  • C'mon man! Bruce!
  • no chance for bruce lee.. none.. Jet Li was 5 times chinese champion of kung fu.. his technique is far far far from bruce's one... and he's mutch more elegant.
  • The fight promoter.
  • Jet Li Is a very good opponent for BruceLee, for the simple reason being, they were both dedicated to their own way of fighting. But, what distinguishes the both styles of which they use ,is that bruce lee was able to improve on an already existing style ,and also created his own way to defeat wushu. In his own defense, he, simplified what could be messy martial arts that makes sense, and become a clear understanding of self preservation and inner strength, which make his jeet kun do most powerful and fluent. Therefore, he was shot down, in what was the beginning of what martial arts could have developed into, but we may never know the potential of what could have been for future martial artists. What a coincidence his son wasn,t able to carry his legacy further. So ,the answer is obvious bruce lee was the genius of the future martial arts, which would leave jet li at the end of a road not yet finished. Who wins ? Bruce Lee!
  • bruce lee would fuck him up
  • Bruce Lee
  • Considering that Bruce Lee is dead, I'm thinking this is a walkover for anyone. Even Woody Allen (maybe two falls out of three, anyway, for Woody).
  • I think they would have a discussion about how fighting doesn't solve anything over tea. Perhaps then they would discuss film making.
  • is this rea-lee a question? :) as much as i love jet, bruce will forever be the dragon...entah
  • Bruce.
  • Sonny Chiba
  • i think that bruce lee would kick jet li's ass because bruce lee is just toooooo fast
  • Bruce Lee all the way. He was a true master
  • Bruce. I vote for anyone who invents their own style.
  • Bruce Lee
  • Chuck Norris
  • The undefeated Bruce Lee! GRRRRRRRR!!! Whoppah!
  • Bruce Lee definitely would kick some ass!
  • Bruce lee, but it would be quit a fight
  • I'd bet on Jet Li against a decomposed corpse any time. I'm sorry - that was uncalled for. Time for bed.
  • It would a close call since the both been called the world's fastest fighter but Bruce would still win the the end
  • Bruce Lee hand downs
  • 1) Bruce Lee. He was an individual fighter and teacher. Jet Li achieved great honors as member of the Beijing Wushu Team. 2) Bruce Lee: "Chinese name 李小龍 (Traditional) Chinese name 李小龙 (Simplified) Pinyin Lǐ XiÇŽolóng (Mandarin)" "Lee's first introduction to martial arts was through his father, Lee Hoi Cheun. He learned the fundamentals of Wu style Tai Chi Chuan from his father. Lee's sifu, Wing Chun master Yip Man, was also a colleague and friend of Hong Kong's Wu style Tai Chi Chuan teacher Wu Ta-ch'i. Lee trained in Wing Chun Gung Fu from age 13–18 under Hong Kong Wing Chun Sifu Yip Man. Lee was introduced to Yip Man in early 1954 by William Cheung, then a live-in student of Yip Man. Like most Chinese martial arts schools at that time, Sifu Yip Man's classes were often taught by the highest ranking students. One of the highest ranking students under Yip Man at the time was Wong Shun-Leung. Wong is thought to have had the largest influence on Bruce's training. Yip Man trained Lee privately after some students refused to train with Lee due to his ancestry ( his mother was of half German ancestry ) as Chinese were secretive in relation to teaching martial arts techniques especially to foreigners. Bruce was also trained in Western boxing and won the 1958 Boxing Championship match against 3-time champion Gary Elms by knockout in the 3rd round. Before arriving to the finals against Elms, Lee had knocked out 3 straight boxers in the first round. In addition, Bruce learned western fencing techniques from his brother Peter Lee, who was a champion fencer at the time. At 22 Lee also met Professor Wally Jay, and began to receive informal instruction in Jujitsu from him. The two would have long conversations about theories surrounding the martial arts and grew to be longtime friends. This multi-faceted exposure to different fighting arts would later play an influence in the creation of the eclectic martial art Jeet Kune Do." "Lee set his sights upon the goal of being one of the fittest and strongest fighters of the world, and he went through life earnestly attempting to achieve this. Lee researched many arts in his life and used what he found was useful and rejected what he did not. He also made subtle changes where he could if what he found did not fit his specific requirements. He tended to favor techniques where he could best take advantage of his own attributes, be it his phenomenal speed, strength, elusiveness, or power. As seen in his films, Lee shrieked and made high-pitched noises while moving to throw opponents psychically off-center. Lee did say, with his usual bravado, he could have beaten anybody in the world in a real fight; however there is little evidence to support his claim. Dan Inosanto said, "there's no doubt in my mind that if Bruce Lee had gone into pro boxing, he could easily have ranked in the top three in the lightweight division or junior-welterweight division." Lee had boxed in the 1959 Boxing Championships held between twelve Hong Kong schools, a tournament in which he beat the three-time champion from another school (a French boy)." Li participated in the sport of wushu in the non-sparring event. He began his wushu on the Beijing Wushu Team, an athletic group organized to perform martial arts forms during the All China Games. As a member of the team, he received wushu training and went on to win fifteen gold medals and one silver medal in Chinese wushu championships. According to Li, once, as a child, when the Chinese National Wushu Team went to perform for President Richard Nixon in the United States, he was asked by Nixon to be his personal bodyguard. Li replied, "I don't want to protect any individual. When I grow up, I want to defend my one billion Chinese countrymen!" which earned him much respect in his homeland. After almost nine years of training, Li has studied some styles of wushu, especially Changquan (Northern Longfist Style). He has also studied other arts including Baguazhang (Eight trigram palm), Taijiquan (Tai chi), Xingyiquan (Shape intent fist), Zuiquan (Drunken fist), and Tang lang quan (Praying mantis fist). He didn't learn Nanquan (Southern fist), because they're focusing only in the Northern Shaolin Styles. He has also studied some of wushu's main weapons, such as San jie gun (Three sectional staff), Gun (Staff), Dao (Broadsword), Jian (Straight sword) and many more." Source and further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_Li "In the nearly three decades since its founding, and through the hard work of the athletes and coaches, the team has achieved remarkable levels of success. From 1974 to 1997, they won the National team championship 11 times. From 1975 to 1985, the Beijing Wushu Team achieved a feat that no team has ever accomplished, before or since – winning the championship for ten consecutive years. The Beijing Wushu Team received 40 individual gold medals during this 10 year reign." "The team has showcased its skills through the Beijing Wushu Team Tour many times over the years. The worldwide tours showcase a mix of veteran athletes and rising stars demonstrating their very best routines. As part of a world tour in 1974, Jet Li was reputed to have performed a two-man fight for US President Richard Nixon on the White House lawn." • I hate to say, but Bruce Lee would win. Jet Li is an actor and a wushu performer, in other words he doesn't really know how to fight that well.
  • It would be Bruce Lee always. +5
  • Chuck Norris
  • I say Jet Li because he can fly through the air and kick ten people in the face before landing. I never saw Bruce do that. Bruce was a master, but Jet is like, magic or something. I remember once I saw him pick up a motorcycle with one hand and smash a cop with it... I think that would kill Bruce, and I don't want Bruce to die.
  • Neither. Chuck Norris would have already put both in the hospital.
  • Chuck Norris!!!
  • without a doubt bruce lee,i am a long time martial arts fan. through my years of watching martial films and being a martial artist myself, i've never seen anyone take to the level that bruce has. how can you even try and compare jet li ,jackie chan, tony jaa steven segal, van dam or anyone else in martial arts to bruce lee.its takes a lot of pratice to learn how to time someone in a fight , but tell me how do you time a guy with broken rythme, power, speed of bruce lee. if you dont believe me watch a bruce lee movie ,most of his movies has a martial arts master in them compare bruce's style and flow to these other 3 step techniques .there is no comparison.
