In pure weight? And I am assuming it is pure gold, about $300. It can bring other wealth to the winner, though. Commercials, endorsements, etc. Not that all do it, but most do, we know that. Do they deserve the "extras"? Well, they spent their entire lives working for it..for nothing, so, you be the judge. I don't begrudge them. It's real worth is something special that only the winner of it can truly know.

Olympic gold medals by regulation must be made of 92.5% pure silver and covered in 6 grams of pure 24k gold. One gram of gold goes for $29 USD currently while a gram of silver goes for about 56 cents US. The gold comes out to $174 USD and the silver to about $52 USD assuming 1.5% for other materials making the medal 100 grams thus silver content is 92.5 grams. Making it almost $226. If the medal was pure gold it would be worth $2900.
