  • Maybe Southland Tales. I actually wound up not liking that one cuz I didn't get it.
  • Pi. Great movie. On the cheesier side there's always: The 13th Floor, Existenz, The Fountain, Fight Club, The Matrix Trilogy, etc.
  • There is a movie called Trauma that makes you question what was really real it has Colin Firth in it....and it has mixed reviews.....but if you are looking for something like that i definitely think it fits the category
  • If your looking for a complete visually weird movie, mirror mask is kinda odd most similar to the labyrinth but a good difference Also the cell with jennifer lopez....not well received but im not sure if that is just because she is not believable for a sci-fi role or what....i thought it to be interesting because it makes it capable to enter someone else's dreams
  • Oh also the nines with Ryan Reynolds is a bit of a trip film and thr3e if you want more of a murder movie trying to give you choices that you may have not seen...not too mainstream
  • Check out "The Life of David Gale". It's really good.

  • have you seen "survive" The story of the soccer team whos plane crashes in the Andes Mts. In the dead of winter, And they turn to Cannabalism to survive. true story, very good.
  • "Fight Club" Starring: Edward Norton & Brad Pitt. It's my favourite movie of all time as well as being mind boggling!
  • The Illusionist, What Dreams may Come is a really good one for questioning reality, Logan's Run,
  • The Butterfly Effect did that for me.
  • Natural Born Killers was pretty trippy Sin City was weird too
  • Blade Runner with Harrison Ford, and Hitcher. It may sound corny but how about Mission to Mars. You need to see this one on a big screen and in the dark to give you the eerie effect of floating in space as you're looking down at Mars. It also adds a weird twist as to how mankind was created.
  • Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs
  • Have you seen any of the old "Twilight Zone" TV episodes (half hour, black and white)?
  • I thought "Big Fish" was trippy and an excellent film.
