No, my family and I went to a sheep pen on Father's Day and pet them. Sheep walk around naked, bleat, knock food and eachother's faces in competition, eat by burying their faces in the grain, and do not come when called.

The herd mentality is there to a large degree. This is true about practically any subject and any direction. The often are led by ignorance and by those who want to direct power in a certian direction. In some instances anyone with any intelligence cannot understand it.

Not necessarily sheep but they don't often think independently. Most people just don't want to disrupt the status quo.

Absolutely: Most People do not have the ability or the mentality to develop independent thought. thinking for oneself requires intelligence, self-control, and courage to stand alone.

Yes I do. But even sheep know to run from trouble. People ignor warnings and think they can live their lives with out others imposing on them. There is a good analogy about the wolf the sheep dog and the sheep I will try to find it and post it as an answer.
