Nope. I never saw that rope hanging.
-
No. I had this fantasy that it would turn out like my parents marriage did, long lasting and happy.

Yes, we both did. And for the next 3 years we both had the same goals, love and purity in mind. Somewhere along the way we ran into an impasse that could not be helped no matter how hard we tried. I am VERY sorry my marriage did not work out. In a sense, I feel like we let down a portion of society as well as ourselves. We were not young (27 & 30). I'm still not EXACTLY sure what happened, but we both do know that all 4 of us (includes our children) are happier being apart. Personally, I have come to the conclusion that Mike and I met to have our children. That was our main goal. We did that and both were born out of love. We did what was needed to be done, and we are still doing the best we can to raise the best children possible. In a reduction, we understand that our relationship has boiled down to a business; Our product: 2 productive, caring & perpetuating members of society. What more can you ask for?

No or I would have not gotten married.

No, I was 18. I had no idea because I was just a baby. I was very idealistic. But, I've been married a long time now. So, I guess I can certainly say by this time that I know what marriage is about or what it should be about to me.
-
God no! If I did I would not have married that man
-
No not at all.
-
Of course..I watched my parents' marriage up close and personal. :)
-
No all I knew that you were suppose to remain faithful to your spouse, and the woman had to do the cooking and housework, and take care of the children
-
I had just that... an idea. The enormity of reality was something I wasn't prepared for, though!
