  • No, movies based on video games are usually awful.
  • Yes. I think there's a way to write a good adaption. At least here's they way I look at it: I think the biggest challenge is finding a reality that works. I mean consider the character of Minion, a tank driving demon. He works great in the game but I think on screen he'd take on an almost cheesy. There are alot of adaption that would have to be carefully considered. One you don't want to seem like you're betraying the audience but at the same time you don't want to come across as too unrealistic and cartoony. Take Sweet Tooth. His signature flamed hair. I had thought how would he have his hair on fire. I'm well aware of the Preacher Curse, but would that work well within the elements of the adaption. It doesn't. However, I think by holding back and not having his head engulfed in total flames then when his head does ignite it makes the scene all the more memorable. I think that hard core I want Twisted Metal verbatim wont like it. Everyone else will.
  • Usually, video game to movie translations are never a good idea. For example, the Doom movie is considered to be the best of that genre, and just look at how bad it is.
  • yes because it would attract more people and get more attention to the game.
