ALASKA. I've been to both. I love the untouched serenity of the Alaskan wilderness. Hawaii is also incredibly beautiful, but too touristy for me, and there's way too much exploitation of the Hawaiian culture by the Western and Asian corporations who OWN those islands. Okay, now I'm getting political, I'd better stop there!
-
Hawaii please. Even though the summers in Alaska may be beautiful, there aren't any grizzlies in Hawaii.
-
Alaska = 49 Hawaii = 50
-
Alaska, for a cruise and to view wildlife.
-
I've been to both (Alaska twice) and Hawaii many times and if it was today--I'd return to Alaska but if it was this winter, I'd pick hawaii.
-
"Alaska", especially this time of the year .... summer.
-
Hawaii - big time. I could never live in the colder temperatures and the idea of days that never get light... just makes me shudder. I couldn't live in the darkness. Now that I have said why NOT Alaska... I think I'd be very happy in Hawaii. I love the water, and I think I would have a blast there. I bet it's gorgeous.
-
Hawaii. I know Alaska is beautiful, but I cannot resist clear blue waters!
-
alaska. the nature is beautiful. the only thing you dont have is the beaches. but if a volcano or a big tidal wave were coming hey you got a chance to live in alaska in hawaaiiii youre screwed.
-
Alaska...I've been to Hawaii so many times...I'm sure there's a lot more, but where I am, you can almost find the Hawaii environment.
-
Hawaii...Indiana is cold enough as it is.
-
Alaska, because it's not in the middle of the ocean! LOL (All that water makes me a bit nervous!)
-
Hawaii. I live in Alaska, so I'm not going to choose the place I get to be all the time. EVEN though, it is in fact, in many ways, supersick.
-
i would pick alaska. higher up on the planet and make the moon look bigger and would get great veiws of it through a telescope. pluse it the best place for crab fishing. i could deal with the 6 months of sunlight and the 6 months of total darkness. i would have to get used to the cold but i would love it there
-
Alaska, there are no IHOPs in Hawaii.
-
Hawaii! I've been to AK too many times.
-
Hawaii because I am not a fan of the cold :)
-
Hawaii, Ive been many times and wish I could live there. I can dream. Alaska, just not for me.
-
no contest at all, Hawaii
-
I live in Canada...I don't travel anywhere to see more snow! Hawaii hands down!
-
I've been to both, and they are completely different. Alaska: Colder, cloudier, alot more land to see, many quaint, small towns with friendly people. Lots of great cruises. Hawaii: Crowded, sunny, warmer, the water and beach. A fairly long travel time from anywhere (at least a 4 hour flight). Very tropical. Alaska is my pick.
