I Have my Bella, oh beautiful, beautiful Bellamia!! I sing to her. I love her so much. She loves me, She's long haired total black. I love her she's my childcat. Im cat sitting my sons cat, his name is "Big Kitty", he weighs about 26 lbs. Im not that fond of him, except for the fact that he is a cat. He only likes my son, he hisses at everyone else. I am a cat woman, yes.

I guess I'll have to be honest and tell you I'm probably a typical "cat lady". I didn't plan on getting so many cats, but it sort of happened. In a matter of a few years, I went from having one cat to having (as of today) 12 cats and 1 dog. I work full-time and then some, but I'm divorced and don't have children, so my first cat became my "child". Now, I just have trouble saying no when I see a stray or one that would otherwise be sent to the Humane Society or Animal Control. But all are healthy and well cared for.

I, unfortunately, don't have any cats but I absolutely adore them. The new name is "cat women" not "cat ladies". The latter sounds really old fashioned and fussy. lol :}

I only own one cat. She's Black with white feet and a white nose. She's very loving. I rescued her from a shelter.

It's not just one here, it's all over the web...(useless fact approaching....). In fact, by all calculations there are estimated to be more pictures of people's cats on the internet, than they are of anything else. Apparently the reason behind this is because when people first began to use email and create their own web sites, nobody really knew what sort of thing to put on their site (as this had not really been done before) - so those who had a cat, put up pictures of the cat or cats. And, that is why, there are more pictures of cats on the web than anything else (total). Oh, and we have 7 lovely furry feliner's - one of which is called Mushen.

Oooh yeah, I have 8 cats at home. Rescued 6 kittens I saw abandoned on the side of the road and now I can't give them away.

Well, some of us are "cat gents" also. My cat is a big blonde tomcat. He pretty much has free range, but he hangs around for some good leftovers and companionship...especially in the winter.

I don't really consider us to be 'typical' anythings, but my wife and I are proud to be considered 'cat people'. They're such regal, beautiful creatures and we are honored to share our home with them. They're lazy, playful, comical, affectionate, fussy, demanding, and oh, so full of their own self worth! I can't imagine my life without 'fur faces' in it. :)

I don't think there really is a "typical" cat lady. I used to have only 3, but when my s/o moved in, 2 more were added to my household. They are like our kids and we love them. All have their own unique personalities.

I like to think of myself as an animal admirer. We currently have two cats, one is 16 yr old and the other is 1 yr. We also have a 7 year old Sheltie (resembles the baby collie) dog. Seems like a lot but really they are just part of the family.

already answered but... yes, i'm really-totally a cat person. by name and, well, we could say by means.. eheh jk =) just kidding girl. i really love cats. i like dogs too, but some how... well, they ten to get over me. i mean, ALL OVER. and i do not really like that... but they're, uhh, well kind. so i like it someways... surely they make you feel... needed, right? eheh

No my preference is dogs. However, I do own a cat that my Daughter brought home 12 years ago. I am not particularity a big fan of cats but I have to admit my cat has a better personality than my dog and I wouldn't part with him for the world.

nope im not JUST a cat lady, i have (besides my 3 cats) two dogs, two fish, a frog, a bird, a ferret, and a husband that all needs to be taken care of, loved, and fed. lol
