I try to get 8 hours of sleep every night. I also try to keep a very positive outlook on life - attitude is half the battle, I think! :)

I've been trying to stick to walking every day, weather permitting. I was only walking during the week, but now my s/o wants to walk in the evenings, so during the week, I'm walking twice a day. Also, drinking lots of water, and sticking to my healthy Weight Watcher eating, even though I've gotten to goal. It's just as hard keeping it off as getting it off. And now that I'm at a healthy weight and have normal bp/cholesterol, I want to keep it that way!

I don't stress over things I can't control. Keeping the stress down is key to so many health issues.

Expressing myself. Getting things off my chest feels very liberating and it's probably good for my heart.

NOT smoking. I did that rotten habit for 41 years. One day I coughed. I HATED what I saw! I quit - "cold turkey" - for 2 years. THEN I went BACK to that rotten habit for about a year. THEN the heads of the tobacco companies testified before Congress. Among the many Qs which were asked, I remember these two: 1] "Do you think cigarettes are addicting?" TO A MAN: "No, sir." OR "No, Senator." 2] "Do you smoke?" TO A MAN: "No, sir." OR "No, Senator." After the lawsuit against the tobacco companies was settled, the price of cigarettes went from $2.75/pack to $3.50/pack. I had enough and called it quits - for good. Today, I don't care if cigarettes go to $50/pack, I WON'T go back to that miserable habit! Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! I take my prescirbed meds and vitimans. I get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep.

I work out 3-5 times a week and avoid stress whenever possible.

I work out 5 days a week, I ice skate every Wednesday, and I play hockey every Thursday. =) You want to sweat? Play hockey for an hour. I can wring out my shirt when I get off the ice. =P

i drink water all day long, NO soda. i cut back on sugar big time, and i try to eat more fruits and veggies
