Lime juice to get a tangy taste. another fix is to put a raw potato in the gravy and boil it. the potato will absorb some of the excess spiciness.

Sour cream. Or if you don't want to put something like that in the food, eat it with a big glass of milk. Milk IMMEDIATELY gets rid of the spice in your mouth.

Dairy products neutralize the heat of capsaicin which is the substance that makes chili peppers hot. I would add some shredded cheese and/or as previously mentioned, sour cream.

Unsweetened applesauce! Apples have an enzyme that neutralizes the heat, and won't affect the flavor. However, it may change the texture (eg. make it runnier). Sugar and vinegar work together, but not as well as apples or dairy.
