Well, we decided that Lola was out....so about about your private dance song, that would fit in SO well with a slasher flick. Also something by Godsmack or Tool would work nicely :)
-
Depends on the tone of the flick, but if it's a little campy I suggest an ode to the Boogie Man (language advisory)

Anything pretty much involving Rob Zombie. He even has a version of Jungle Bells (Christmas Slay from the Twisted Metal soundtrack) that would work.

Horse Latitudes by the Doors. :o
-
Face of Death by Suicide Commando. It's Industrial, and so has the perfect beat to go along with the seemingly empty mind of a psychotic, and this song in particular has all these eerie sounds in it. Plus if you hear what they say it fits perfect.

How about "Rest In Pieces" by Misanthrope... Or maybe "Short Stories With Tragic Endings" by From Autumn To Ashes...
-
I think "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond would be fun. The knife thrusts could be synched to the "bum bum bum" part of the song!
-
Possum Kingdom by the Toadies - Thats my favorite song ever

I think classical music would be a unique touch, but anything with a strong violin solo would be great, though I don't care for slasher movies anyway.
-
If you want to go on the dark comedy side of things, then I reckon Mr. Psycho or Drop Dead by a British 90's band called Space...the lead singer has a bit of a creepy voice.
