  • Deep in all of our hearts we are searching for something, that is how we were made, you are not alone in feeling the way you do. I can tell you in my life I have been through some very tough times with the death of my father and my mum having a heart attack several weeks ago. In saying the things I am about to say, I don't want to pressure you and hope you will not feel pressured in anyway because the decision is up to you but I can tell you that for me I have found Jesus Christ to be my best friend and his love fills the emptiness in my life, he speaks to me, comforts me and provides for me in so many ways every day. If you are searching for love and acceptance and healing, you can find it in him! He reaches out his arms of love, not judgeing or condeming. Often we see on television the way that the church is portrayed and it is often cold and unloving and rejecting of people who don't fit in or are living lifestyles that are not picture perfect but that is not what Jesus is really like at all and the bible is very different to the way people have made organised religion. Jesus came for those who are sinners and prostitutes, liars and cheaters and abusers, he came to love those who were not lovely. Those who thought they were perfect he did not have much to do with when he was here on earth but came to those who needed help and needed him, a saviour for their souls. He is reaching out his arms to you today and speaking to you through this internet blog. I don't know who you are but he does and he wants me to say these things to you. You are precious to him. Jesus died so that you could have life in him and know God and walk with God. If you want the emptiness filled in your life today I am telling you all you need to do is ask Jesus to reveal himself to you, believe in your heart that he will and I promise you he will. You might even want to take a step further and get along to a good Christian church in your area that will encourage you. Find a good church, there are some good ones out there. I pray that you will be filled with peace and love and joy in your life and be blessed!

  • The answer is Jesus. Jesus is what will fill your emptiness. --Jesus' love is what you were created for. You were created for intimacy with God. "God wants you with him. It's why he made you in the first place." What He is after is you--your laughter, your tears, your dreams, your fears, your heart of hearts. He wants you. You matter. You are God's creation, his masterpiece. You were worth an excrutiating death. You are sought after and pursued. He delights in you and rejoices over you as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride (see verse). You are his beloved. God has set his heart on you (Job 7:17). Nothing can separate you from God's love: "I'm absolutely convinced that nothing--nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable--absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us."~Romans 8:38-39 "The most important truth you will ever discover is that God loves you. He loves you so much that He wants you to spend eternity with Him in heaven."~Billy Graham This is the ultimate demonstration of God's love for you: He died for you. He died a brutal death to have you. He took your place on the cross, paying the penalty of your sins, so you would no longer be separated from him, but would be with him in the intimate relationship you were made for, forever. You can live for eternity in His heavenly kingdom, where "he'll wipe every tear from [your] eyes. And for a while that may seem to satisfy; the Bible says we sometimes may 'enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time' (Hebrews 11:25). But don't be deceived. Eventually, you will get bored, or unable to enjoy them—and what then? God put you here for a reason, and life's greatest joy comes from knowing His plan for our lives." --Jesus is what gives purpose to your life. "God put us here 'to live for him and experience the joy of his presence everyday. ...When we live only for ourselves we find it doesn't bring us happiness after all. In fact, a life of self-indulgence only leads to emptiness. The Bible warns, 'There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death' (Proverbs 14:12 "But God has another way for us—His way! It alone is the way of peace, and it alone will bring us true happiness. Not only that, but His path alone will lead us to heaven. What is that way? It is the way of the cross—Christ's cross. On the cross Christ took away all our sins and selfishness, and now He wants to come into our lives and replace them with His love. 'Jesus said, 'I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full' (John 10:10). Turn to Christ today and ask Him to come into your life. Then ask Him to begin changing you from within—and He will, as you yield your life to Him and allow His Word, the Bible, to shape your life every day." You were made because of God's love and you were made for God, for his purpose. And "your life's purpose fits into a much larger purpose He has designed for eternity." ~Rick Warren. You were planned for God's pleasure. He delights in you. You bring enjoyment to God. "If you are that important to God, and he considers you valuable enough to keep with him for eternity, what greater significance could you have? You are a child of God [if you have turned to Christ], and you bring pleasure to God like nothing else he has ever created." You were formed for God's family. You were created to become like Christ. You were shaped for serving God. And you were made for a mission. Knowing your purpose brings meaning to your life, simplifies it, focuses it, motivates it, leads to peace of mind, and prepares you for eternity. You learn to be content* ("in whatever the circumstances" Philippians 4:11--written by the apostle Paul, who was in PRISON. He is the "bread of life", "living water", "wise councellor", "prince of peace", "shining star", "the way, the truth, and the life." The secret to finding contentment begins with* --Christ's presence ("Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love.." Psalms 90:4. You know God loves you no matter what, always. "For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Psalms 107:9). --The power of Christ ("He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:29. He is your power source.), --Christ's provision ("But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that." 1 Timothy 6:8. That's enough because we have God.   • A*n*s*w*e*r*b*a*g If you are being serious, then I visit friends, join a club, or volunteer. The last one really helps because you take your mind off yourself and your loneliness. Best too you!
  • I don't feel emptiness. But I did I'd volunteer. Helping others get you outside of yourself. It also helps you gain perspective.
