I found the saxophone very easy....but I guess hte easiest has to be the triangle ;0)

No instrument is easy to learn. On some instruments, like the recorder, it is possible to pick up the notes quickly and be able to play in a rudimentary way; that is why the recorder is taught in schools. But to play the recorder well requires as much training and musical skill as any other instrument.

I would say the piano. I picked it up easily & played from about 7 to 15. ALL instruments need some kind of talent whether it's timing or dexterity. Go to a music store & just ask the sales clerk if you can mess around & see what fits you. Some things are "easy" but some people just can't get the hang of it.
