No..I file when I get all of my pertinent forms for investments and our W2 forms, and file electronically with turbotax. I wait till the last minute to pay...

Apparently, I do. I gave my sister-in-law my tax info weeks ago, but she hasn't filed yet.

Never. I get it over with as soon as I get my W-2s.

We do a preliminary review of our taxes in December, and decide if we have to pay, we will wait as long as possible, if we are getting a refund, it will be as soon as possible. We e-filed immediately this year, and put the refund into a savings account.

I usually work it out so I come out even or have to pay a little…so yes, last minute.

Nope... Filed and got our return back already (from the feds). Besides, THIS year, if you don't file by 04/15, you don't get that "incentive" advance on next year's taxes.

No, but I just found out today that I forgot to put postage on the envelopes. Got the state tax envelope back today!!! Kick me!! At least I'm only yelling at myself rather than someone else yelling at me!!

Yes! Not only to I wait to the last minute, I also file a tax extension so that my return isn't due until October 15th. I use FileLater ( http://filelater.com ). There are a lot of good reasons to extend: http://blog.filelater.com/2008/04/06/5-good-reasons-to-file-a-tax-extension/

No, I file the taxes for the business in January and my personal ones in February.

Last minute possible. I hate paying them..If you knew they were going to something important, I'd pay early, but our city taxes only fattened the wallets in city hall.
