  • Clear my beer cans.
  • Probably painting the house...it would require moving heavy furniture and we're kinda old to be doing something like that! :) We're strong but we know our limitations..we have a sofa that we can't budge! Trying to move it would be unwise! :)
  • Getting rid of all the extraneous stuff (furniture, clothing, bric-a-brac etc.)Cleaning and painting it..
  • Landscaping
  • Fixing (or replacing) the septic tank, and replacing all the plumbing in the house. Turns out, the pipes used in my house were recalled, but we didn't find out about it until it was too late to claim. Rats.
  • Cutting in a new driveway.
  • Moving all my furniture so I can shampoo my carpets. The roll top desk is going to be the worst--cords going everywhere and it's heavy besides.
  • Since we've done just about everything here from the ground up and our septic system, too with two tanks, a dispersion field and a sand filter, I'd say the only thing we didn't do is drill our well. So if we needed a new well or the pump replaced, we'd call the well guys to come out again. Oh! and I don't want to clean our tall chimney on a 12 in 12 pitch roof. Too steep to be safe! I'd rather call a chimney sweep and let him worry about it.
  • An extension built on the back.. consisting of an en suite bedroom.
  • Lets see...I would like to put in hardwood floors throughout the house, I need a new kitchen and a new roof and landscaping, Oh, and new siding and gutters, and a barn would be nice! I'd really like to add an upstairs to my house, too. I don't think I could handle any of this myself.
  • Fixing the radiator in the bathroom, it just keeps on heating! LOL. Luckily, we have a guy coming the day after tomorrow. :)
