Oh, thats sad.
-
I just told my 71 year old mom...she remembered him...
-
Yeah, I just heard about that. . If somebody asked me yesterday to guess whether he was still alive I would have guessed that he wasn't. :o
-
I didnt hear that today, I went to work left at noon to take Mariah to the dentist to get her wisdom teeth cut out.
-
No and what's sadder is that I never heard of him until now. You'd have thought that in all those years I would have heard mention of him but once. Well, I'll spill a little beer in his honor later on. I'm sure he was good. Better pastures for you and may I watch a film of yours one day.

Poor Richard. He was quite a great actor back in the 40s and the 50s.
-
He had a very prominent face and was decent in westerns....RIP and I hope I can make to my 90s.
-
Excellent actor~may he Rest In Peace!
-
No, I did not hear that. My mom has been in the hospital, so I have been a little "out of things". I enjoyed several of his movies. Thanks for the news..sad though it is. :-(
-
I'll always remember him for his role in the 1960 movie "The Alamo" as Jim Bowie. I always liked him as an actor.
-
No. But thanks for the info. I really liked him as an actor. I can't remember a bad job he ever did. He was usually typecast as the tough, strong, deliberate guy with a sensitive side, but he was really very versatile.

He was a real STARR in his day! Great actor!
