When i go to certain websites there is flashing boxes all over the screen saying you are a winner or your the 1,000,000 th visitor etc, and whenever you try to close them it doesnt work that just opens them, they annoy the hell out of me

The one with the smilie faces that talk, play music and probably contains spyware and adware if you download them to your computer.

Pop-ups are annoying, but my pop-up blocker takes care of the majority of them. Although, I'm not sure why it won't block all. Anything that flashes a lot is annoying, but the most annoying are the pop-unders with sound like "congratulations, you've been selected to win a free Ipod Nano..." If my volume is up too loud, those scare the shit out of me!

Congratulations! You are the 798047289182 visitor! or those stupid movie advertisements that POP up and take up the entire screen and you can't continue visiting the website til they are done.... like on IMDB or AIM.

1. There was one that tried to infect my PC with a virus. I don't remember who the sponsor was but my AV Internet worm blocker warned me about what that piece of cyber crap was trying to do. 2. The Win X pop-up that caused all the internet connections I had up at the time to crash. Either it had no visible button with which to close it or the red square with the white X was totally faux so I had to summon my task manager to get rid of it.

I opened my e-mail account one day and there was a spider. I'm scared to death of spiders. This spider was animated, and appeared to jump out at me from the screen. I swear I almost had a heart attack. Now don't laugh! It was horrible. I got a headache and my stomach hurt. I was afraid to look at my mail for a week. I finally put a cloth over the top of the screen so I wouldn't have to see the darn thing.
