  • Nope but whatever it is sounds scary... Chances are you don't need any type of "tool" but your own body to get toned abs. Raising one arm above you head, with the other on your hip, slightly lean to the side (which ever side you hand is on you hip), you should feel like muscle work instantly. Do this switching sides until you have had enough...
  • Yes - I have one and it is very well built, and works every possible area of the core with an intensity like I have never experienced. I highly recommend it. They have a commercial grade version in hundreds of health clubs. You can see the list of clubs if you go to the health club version site at abcoasterclub - dot com. It simulates the hanging leg lift without the strain on the lower back and upper body.
  • Here is the good and bad about the ab coaster. The good is that it definitely works, you can feel it with each repetition, and although I have only had it for 2 weeks, can already see some results. Here is the bad (or not) - It isn't as easy as the commercial makes it seem to be, with everyone smiling as they are casually using it. It is work, and if you do the repetitions slowly and fully, you will be luck to do it 25 times straight until you build up the muscles in your stomach. Also, because of this, it would take some time to condition yourself to be able to continuosly do it to get a cardiovascular workout, as your stomach muscles fatigue too quickly (again, this is for the average user, someone in top conditioning might get a cardiovascular workout with it out of the box) Anyway, very well built machine, definitely works, but is not as easy as it appears
  • I have used the abcoaster for about 2 months now and have fantastic results from it. I do agree that its not as easy as they make it look on the commercial but once you get the hang of it, it really works... I am up to putting 20 lbs on it and have results that I am very happy with. I started seeing results in a week. I now have a 4-pack and the other 2 lower abs are starting to appear. This machine works every muscle in your stomach (including the sides). I'd highly recomend this machine for anyone really looking for results.
  • First off... No abdominal work out will ever give you amazing results without breaking a sweat. With that being said I work out my abs every single day at the gym and I aim to destroy them. My gym recently got this piece of equipment and it has given me results in weeks that would take me months to achieve. The piece of equipment works fast because it targets your lower and oblique abs, since it targets these parts of your abs and works them harrrrrrd, you see great results. Also in any workout, try to minimize all resting periods. Using this machine try not to rest more than 5 to 10 seconds between sets. This will be sure to maximize your fatige point and the 6 pack is sure to come!! Enjoy Work hard, see results.
  • I used it today at Dick's Sporting Goods. I could tell it works right away. It was a little too pricey to buy today though. I will probably save and consider buying it in the future because I really did like it.
  • i really like all these answers. i just got my ab coaster yesterday 10-07-08 and i am very excited to see what happens. do you guys diet aswell or do just eat as you would normally?
  • How did BrendanB25 add 20 lbs to the Abcoaster? Was that on a commercial machine?
  • All right, I kept looking a the web for weeks. Read everything I could on the Ab coaster. Finally I purchased it. It arrived earlier then promised. A good sign. I unpacked it and found that one plug for the weights was broken. No big deal. Does not effect performance. The next problem was the holes to attach the arm base was not tapped properly. I could only tighten 3 of the 4 screws. Now, do you disassemble, and pack it to return or go with it. I went with it. Now, for the workout. I am a 48 year old woman. I was able to pump out 150 forward and 60 obliques. I was a little disappointed. Where was the burn. After a week, I remembered the weight bars. I added 10 pounds. Now that was the results I expected. I now love my ab coaster. I bought the cs1000 but I did not know that it did not have the counter. So keep that in mind if you purchase.
  • I recently had a baby and have alot of extra baggage right now. I don't work so I don't get alot of exercise. Would it be a good idea for me to purchase the ab coaster? how soon would I see results? I know everyone's body is different but on average when did ppl start seeing results? If I bought the machine within the month would my body be good for the summer?
  • everyone on here talking about what machine or overpriced manmade invention is going to do for them are fools! getting fit is mostly about what you eat. anyone can lift weights, but it takes some serious will power to include the diet. use your body and have some intellect. dont waste your money for somebody else's profit.
  • FYI I just ordered it and have not gotten it but it was an addition to my treadmill and biofirce (great machine but not for tummy) I do diet and exercise regularly. THere are several people on here saying that its no good.... well if u diet and exercise any machine will be good!
  • does anyone have an abcoaster workout that they are willing to pass along?
  • i would like to buy a used ab coaster. dont want to spend 400 at wallyworld
  • I am looking for a used ab coaster, I have used them in a gym in ohio, can feel it is a good workout on the abs, just dont want to spend 400 at wally world
  • How much does it cost?
  • Hi, The AbCoaster definitely works and it helps you work your abs from the bottom up which is often more effective than the other way around. However, it can take up a lot of room around the house and you won't get flat abs just by using it. You need to follow a strict diet plan and to workout your entire body. So, it works, but the results aren't likely to be as in the infomercials. Check out this review of the ab coaster to learn more: http://burnmybellyfat.com/ab-coaster-review.html
