  • Bulletins get sent to all your friends (on their signup page). A blog sits on your myspace page for everyone to see.
  • The only difference between the two, in my opinion, are the lengths. People reserve bulletins for quick statements and blogs for lengthy, FYI type of material.
  • A bulletin is a mass message posted in the 'bulletin space' of someone's homepage. It is sent to all of your friends at once. It is used to post general information, surveys, etc. For example, if I got a new phone number, I would post a bulletin to let my friends know. A blog is something that is contained on your myspace page, in other words, someone would have to go to your page to see it. You use your blog to write and document anything you wish. For example, if I just returned from a neat vacation and wanted to write about it, I would post it in my blog. I might even post a bulletin alerting my friends that I have a new blog up.
  • Bulletins are dumb, blogs aren't necessarily so (see other answers for technical details :)
