OH MY GOD!!!! IT'S THE RING ONLY...wow, that's really lame... Yeah, I wouldn't go see One Missed Call if you paid me, so I'm very sure it sucked.

I work for the company that is distributing that film, so I saw the theatrical trailer for it about 6 months ago. I almost laughed out loud during the first scene of the trailer. A cell phone rings and two women look at each other with abject terror in their eyes and one says, "That's not my ring tone!" I thought it was one of those movies that make fun of a genre like "Epic Movie", but it was serious! Amazingly it's made $24 million domestically since it's release on 1/4.

I never saw it, but I could tell from the first time I saw the trailer that it sucked. The dialogue was horrible and, well, how many times can they regurgitate that same story before everyone realizes it sucks?
