  • People like to demonize the fast food industry for providing "unhealthy" food. However, as others have pointed out, the problem is not so much what you eat as how much you eat and how much exercise you get. Most of us (myself included) eat too much and don't get enough exercise. I would also point out that McDonalds (and most other fast food restaurants) also offer healthy alternatives to their customers. They offer various salads at the very least and some are beginning to also offer fresh fruit. So, it all comes down to the choices that we as individuals make. Do we get the high fat burger or do we get the salad. Don't blame McDonalds because their customers prefer the burgers over the salads.

By doing that, they are naturally eating a very high calorie snack in between meals. They should not, therefore, be surprised if they gain weight.

Mcdonald's food damages your body, because of all the unhealthy calories and salt that is causing obesity in America. So if you eat enough, then yes it becomes addictive, and then can make you fat. However, if you avoid addiction and eat in moderation, then you don't get fat. I don't eat Mcdonalds because I don't see it as a nutritious meal, so why should my body treat it as one.
