  • Yes, but if you take the traffic school, at least the ticket will not show on your record and your insurance premiums won't go up. I was caught speeding, and took the class. It was worth it not to have my insurance go up, and when i moved back to Reno, the insurer here never even saw the ticket.
  • No, your citation is genreally reduced, sometimes you only have to pay the court fee, moreover if you join a traffic school you may also be able to prevent points from appearing on your license. Have a look at this one if you are interested- http://www.trafficinteractive.com
  • My experience is that you will probably have to pay a fine but it is up to the judge if it the maximum fine. If you are allowed to go to traffic school the citation will be removed from your record after you satisfactorily complete the course (but you don't get the fine back if you paid one).
