Virtually nothing, working memory can be improved with practice and focus. Our working memory can hold 5 items (plus or minus 2) under normal circumstances, this number can be increased or diminished depending on circumstances and use. Intelligence is a term that is tossed about that many don't fully grasp (including scholars). IQ tests are only one way to measure intelligence and it only provides a very limited scope of what 'intelligence' really is. There are many 'types' of intelligence and many can not be measured, therefore someone may possess a type of intelligence in a certain area that may improve their working memory. In terms of actual IQ score, the correlation is non-existent.

there is none. my computer might encounter a bug and lock up. It will do it each time it gets to the bug. Even after a milion years it'll never learn to avoid the bug so as not to crash. That's less intelligence than a kitten who needs to get his paws just ONCE to know that water ain't too pleasant for him. Yet a very slow computer can possess more memory than even 1000 very clever people.
