I could be wrong here but I believe Boston also has an elevated subway line. Can anyone from Boston or who has been to Boston confirm this?

Two that I know of are San Francisco Bart system, and the new San Diego light rail.

I know all who have answered mean to be helpful but I must correct something. The San Diego "Light Rail" is really a trolley car line using Kawasaki cars with Pentagraphs instead of real PCC cars with trolley poles. But it is still a trolley car surface line and not an el line running above the streets (not on the streets). BART comes out through a portal going to Oakland but I don't recall that it runs over city streets but rather like an inter-city train on its own right-of-way. The Boston lines are mostly trolley lines, not train lines. The only other "elevated line" in a city is the monorail running above the streets of downtown Seattle. But that is not in the category of what you are looking for.
