This year (back by Popular Demand) I will Again do a 15 Lb. Standing Rib Roast (Lg. End, Duh!) over Mesquite in the Smoker for 12hrs. @ 150 F.!!! Then into the Oven inside for 30 min. @ 500 F. just to "Crisp it". Our Sons Girlfriends' Father (Robert)has been asking all this past year as to when he should be here & what to bring. I told him to buy several Roasts & I'll Smoke them so he can have whenever he wants! John

Whatever my mom is making for us this year. I'm scared because for some reason or another she said she wanted to cook a traditional German Christmas dinner and the only food I like is Sauerkraut so it ought to be interesting. BTW, be sure to comment on this answer after I ate in order to find out exactly what my mom really did make.

Almost! We had to settle for a 10 & 5 Lb. Roast this year, so I'm gonna "Play" a bit with the small one! We kinda like the Jack Daniels Mesquite Steak Sauce so I think I will "Inject" a solution of the Sauce with some Tenderizer in it and see how it turns out. We always have enough food so go to the Intersection of I-10 & Hwy 83. Pull into the "Parking Area" & We'll bring the 4x4 to pick U up. We will eat at 6:30 so be there @ 6:00pm. . John & Tam

I'm not sure you could call it a food, but my Mother-in-law always puts these "chocolate truffle" things in our stockings. They are wrapped in different colored foil-type paper, they have a semi-hard shell with a softer, milk chocolate interior. I could eat pounds and pounds of them!

tamales, we eat mexican food on Christmas.
