Good ol' hot chocolate :) One kind that I love is 'After Eight', it's originally a chocolate bar but now has a hot chocolate too, it's mint chocolate. And some mini marshmellows added, and a dollop of whipped cream on top with a sprinkle of cinnamin :)

I tend to go through a lot of hot chocolate, but hot cider spiced with some dark rum is more welcome. However, I am not allowed to do that at work so....

Tom n Jerrys with a good dose of brandy and rum. For those NOT familiar with this most wonderful nectar of the Gods, it's a VERY sweet egg batter with tons of sugar whipped up till it's super thick then dolloped into a mug of hot water(not so hot it cooks the egg)and some brandy and rum. Garnished with some freshly grated nutmeg. MMMMMMMM! Now I remember what I still like about this season. Don't believe me? Here's a link, but this guy makes it a lot more work than necessary. http://www.esquire.com/drinks/tom-and-jerry-drink-recipe?src=sem&mag=esq&dom=gog&ad=DD&ad_grp=0778&kw=ist&s_kwcid=tom%20and%20jerry|1322977055

Swiss Miss hot cocoa mix with marshmallows.

Hot cocoa with marshmallows is a nice alternative on a cold, blustery night but only in limited amounts. It is rife with sugar and calories and doesn't do much for people with diabetes. A cup of hot, black coffee is my number one go-to.

Hot chocolate

A mocha, with a double shot of espresso, sometimes with a splash of whisky in it.
