There is a difference in the Catholic church and what the bible teaches. One is biblical and one is not. Unfortunatley the people in the Catholic church are being decieved into wrong teaching."Confirmation" or "baptism" in the Catholic church is not the way Christ taught it. God said we are saved by grace, not by works! The catholic church is all about works! We can't get to heaven by paying for it.Christ already paid for it and at the end He said " it is fininshed"Why do people keep slapping Him in the face by working to get to heaven? He did all that was nessasary and we can not add to it. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8) The Catholic bible is wrong it is inspired by man not God.They added to it and God warns us "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:" (Revelation of John 22:18) Stop relying on yourself to get to heaven and trust only in Christ! Pray to Him not Mary, she was a humble woman who told us to obey Him. "His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. " Turn to Jusus, and ask Him to save you. Only He can!

Not at all. These are two different things. I would hope that the Catholic church would not "confirm" anyone who is not "saved" or "born-again". No one needs to go through confirmation to be "born again". This is simply a man made tradition, although it is probably a good one. Up in heaven, there will not be division, but only one Body, as there truly is today, whether people have knowledge of it or not. If you are "born-again", then you are in the same category as every other person who is "born-again". There are only people who are, and people who aren't.

PLEASE READ BELOW: No one is "paying" for anything/ Why do ignorant people continue ti judge those who wish to practice their faith? The “gifts of the Holy Spirit” are listed in the Bible: “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him: the spirit of wisdom, and of understanding, the spirit of counsel, and of fortitude, the spirit of knowledge, and of godliness. And he shall be filled with the spirit of the fear of the Lord, He shall not judge according to the sight of the eyes, nor reprove according to the hearing of the ears.” (Isaiah 11:2-3) Confirmation is usually administered by a bishop, who prays that the Holy Spirit will come down upon the person being confirmed, and all those who are already confirmed around them. Usually, this involves the laying of hands (meaning he places his hands on the person being confirmed and prays). The bishop anoints the forehead, saying: “I sign thee with the sign of the cross and confirm thee with the chrism of salvation, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.” When doing this, he uses “chrism oil,” which is blessed at a special Mass. Then he usually gives a “slight blow on the cheek,” saying “Peace be with thee.”

No. Being saved is a personal decision that cannot be conjured by any religion no matter how good its intentions. Confirmation is more akin to Protestant baptism, and a sign that the person has reached an adult understanding of their faith.

"Confirmation" in the Catholic Church is nothing whatsoever the same as "being saved". Confirmation may also be called "Chrismation". It is the sacrament where one is anointed by holy oil and inwardly accepts the "Armour of Christ". It is given around the age when one is expected to start acting as a witness for Christ, or rather, the age when you might say the media becomes a hindrance to one's salvation.

No. Confirmation is a sacrament. Do you remember when the apostles were all in one room after Christ had died? And they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Confirmation is the re-enacting of that event.

NO one is permanently "saved". (Zephaniah 2:3) seek Jehovah, all YOU meek ones of the earth, who have practiced His own judicial decision. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably YOU may be concealed in the day of Jehovah’s anger. ...PROBABLY...you may be concealed...
