  • The standard model is the most complete form of working theory we have regarding quantum interactions. There are new advances such as string theory which may or may not turn out to be true but they are, as yet, untested. And it should be noted that in terms of atomic modelling you need to go deeper than the atomic structure to understand what is fully going on. Into quarks and the strong force for example to explain proton bonding in the nucleus for example. But we are still have some way to go.
