Death hurts or didn't you notice?
-
Not really. But I am terrified of the physical pain that might be associated with it!
-
I never said I was, lol....because it's the end of life and no one really knows what happens after you die...
-
Because no one knows for sure, what, if anything, is next .
-
I'm not, but the dying process kinda worries me.
-
I'm not... From what I can tell, death is the absence of existing. Imagine what it was like before you were born - it's probably like that : P When I die, I'll be too dead to care or even notice.
-
Not afriad of being dead, I would very much like to live forever but that is just because there is so much I want to know and experience and there is too little time not because I fear no longer existing. The act of dying though could be particularly unpleasant, painful, distressing etc and therefore I am not really looking forward to that bit. If I could gurantee I would die a peaceful death in my sleep then I would have no fear but I don't know that. I truly fear dying of cancer or something which could be long and painful.
-
..but i'm not afraid. Actually, I already almost died twice.
-
I agree with the others, death itself doesn't scare me but the process of dying does.
-
They want to carry on living.
-
Probably not so much death itself, just the initiation ceremony which can be scary and painful.
-
having been on the doorstep of death a few times already, i think it is just the reality of the unknown. for me, i am not afraid of death at all, i have come to terms with it, but those surrounding you look mortified, and that is not a good feeling
-
On the contrary, death fears me...mwa ha ha!
-
Because they are irrational.
-
The unknown.
-
I'm just scared that I'll die before I get anything DONE in life. I want to do something that will shake the world and I cannot die before that day comes.
-
I'm not afraid of death but I'm bummed out by it as I would love for there to be some other form of existing (wouldn't want to live forever as a human). Other than that as others have said I'm afraid of the means by which death will come to me.
-
Because it involves me dying.
-
Who says i am ?
-
im not afraid of death
-
No. Because it's inevitable and part of life.
-
No, because to fear death is to fear nothing.
-
I don't fear death because I've come to terms with the fact that everyone dies. I'm at peace that we will all eventually die. I don't want to die, but I don't fear the fact that I will.
-
Naw. I used to be years ago... think we all go that at a certain age. Now it's accepted, and the sooner the better in my books.
-
I have NO fear on going on to the othr side of life ... My ONLY fear is what will happen to my little dog if something would happen to me ... I KNOW that NO ONE would take as good of care of him as I do ...

Death is a natural cycle and part of all living things. I do fear a long life full of suffering..

Mr. Death and I are old acquaintences. He took a number of my men in Vietnam, and a number of my friends over the years. Lately he's been breathing down my neck too, what with cancer and diabetes from Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam. But, at 66, I have the usual aches and pains people my age begin to have, and I can see down the road where pain will become my constant companion. Going with my old friend, Mr. Death will, at some point, come almost as a relief. That is, if the cancer or diabetes don't get me first. I've lived an amazing life, and have very, very few regrets. I would just like a few more years with my beloved wife, and then I'll go peacfully ... maybe. : D
-
Not really. I'm cool with God and all. I fear being old and wrinkly a hell of a lot more than I fear death.
-
I am not afraid of death but I am afraid of dieing. Once death is here dieing is over and I have seen some people take a really long time to die while enduring endless amounts of pain.
-
Actually death seems peaceful and welcome to me. It's an improvement over my life. As an atheist I don't worry about ghosts and goblins waiting to pounce on me in an "afterlife."
-
I try not to be. Fear gets in the way of spiritual progression.
-
no, death is relief. phuq this awful place called earth. lol
-
I think, everyone fears death regardless of what they say. That's why when someone fires a shot in a open place everyone trying to fleeing. I also on the same boat, but since it's inevitable I try to live a good life without causing harm to others and hope for the best in the death bed.
-
NO because I believe in Heaven & I'm kind of looking forward to see my grandparents & some others if I make it there
