  • Yeah... up until tonight I believed in this website, until I realized quickly that it isn't so much about answering questions as it is about defending your answers. I certainly don't need anymore agrivation in my life than I already have. Nice concept, though... this website. It needs some safeguards, though (somehow), against vindictive people who have ulterior motives. I give up. I won't be back. See ya! I wish I would not have written this. I won't delete it. It is an example of how emotions can effect judgement. Anger is a fleeting emotion. I should have just backed off and took a break. I will certainly try to do that next time, AB is a good place to ask and answer questions. Thanks!
  • Because I can't seem to leave even when I really meant that I really wanted to leave; just like I said in the first place, which is exactly the answer to the question you just asked which was already answered!
  • I was on another, similar site looking in vain for an answer to soem random question and someone suggested I come here because it was a better site.
  • Through my wife, who had been a contributor to this site for several months prior to my arrival. If I am not mistaken, it was brought to my attention through her reaction to one of the bizarre questions or answers that appear from time to time. Some are just too weird or insane to be passed by without a verbal comment, even when we refrain from answering. Our verbal comments are not always suitable or diplomatic enough to be written down. And sometimes our personal views are radically different from those of other users of this site. ------------------------------------------------------------ Re: "Who's the wife?" That's for me to know and you to wonder about. Just one comment, though. I have yet to meet a woman who appreciates being called "the wife" and some are offended by such remarks. Can't say as I blame them - being treated as an object is demeaning.

  • I was drawn here by this strange Light I saw in the dark, hazy distance. It was a bright, warm Light, and it made me feel safe. I walked toward the Light and reached out to touch it as angelic choirs sang it rapt jubilation all around me. I touched the Light; the Light touched me. I became the Light... the Light coughed. Well, it was more like the Light was clearing it's throat than a cough. Whatever it was, I felt more alive than I had ever felt my entire life! My very soul was vibrating with boundless energy and anticipation. The Light cleared it's throat again, and said, "Um, excuse me?" Startled, but still with every cell of my body, every thought in my mind and every ounce of my soul utterly and completely engaged at being one with the Light, I replied, "Yes?" "Um, " the Light said again, "You're in my 'Me' space. Would you mind...?" And it was gone. Leaving me online with Answerbag looking up why the Mr. Clean Magic Erasure worked so freakin' awesome.
