I think I am me in both cases. I might seem a bit more distant in real life though, but even that depends on the person.
-
I'm ruder and meaner to people on AB than I would be outside of the net.
-
No, I'm pretty much myself on AB and in RL, although Stableboy says I'm quieter in RL.
-
I consider myself to be an honest person who loves to laugh and make jokes. I do present myself as I really am.
-
I don't spend my real life constantly speaking in question/answer form... But other than that, I am pretty much me :)
-
this is me, just me.
-
I'm the same any where I am whether it be on Answerbag or at the Piggly Wiggly -lol ( grocery store ) + up
-
In real life I'm sometimes cheerful, sometimes miserable, sometimes understanding, sometimes sarcastic, very occasionally rude. On Answerbag I'm the same. We're all complex beings.
-
I usually consider what I want to say before I type, whereas in RL it all just...comes out. Other than that, I'd say I'm like me. Except I'm better looking in RL.
-
I present myself as i am i don't see the point of pretending to be someone I'm not.
-
i believe i present myself as i really am. i am more talkative on AB than in real life. i'm quite a shy person
-
I am more shy in real life, at first. Then it's the real me that y'all get on AB.
-
I'm very much "what you see is what you get" both here on AB, and in real life. I don't lie...it would be too hard to keep stories straight. I need all my brain cells to try to remember the stuff that's important. ;-)
-
I am pretty much the same but quieter and more shy in real time.
-
I would say that I am nicer on AB than I amin real life but then again it can be the other way around.

Answerbag *is* real life. We're all real people conversing real words in a real situation. I lose my temper much more quickly in meatspace (i.e in person as opposed to online), I think I'm louder than I am online too. Generally I think my ''niceness'' is the same, and I certainly present myself as I am, apart from certain personal details like names etc... but in meatspace I'm faced with totally different situations than on AB, so different aspects of my personality present themselves more readily. AB is very two dimensional in my opinion.
-
I am the same on here as I am if you would meet me in person.
-
I think I come off as a *dumber* person in real life than I do on AB.....oh, wait.....that's a logical impossibility. Never mind...;-D.... . . .
-
I wouldn't be comfortable with myself by being insincere or presenting only my better face here, that would take away a lot from truly enjoying this site. I wonder who has the energy to keep a false front at all times here. I'm pretty curious, easy going on real life as well. Maybe I do have more of a temper in "real life" which I try to keep on check on here for everyone's benefit.
-
Same here as in the real world..just me cant seem to change that so I guess I will stop trying..lol :)
-
Im an even more evil bastard in real life ;-)
-
I really am the same here ,there, everywhere:)
-
I don't think so. Wherever you "see" me, it'll be the same person. Being otherwise is too exhausting..being yourself is the easiest to maintain over the long haul. Life is complex enough as it is, why add to it? :)
-
What you see is what you get.
-
If I was the same as on here in real life the men in the white coats would've been knocking years ago.
-
I am more hyper in reality... I know..scary huh?
-
You cannot properly be yourself over the internet To be yourself is more than words
-
I'd say I'm probably a little bit more of a jerk than I am in real life -- but not by much....
