  • 2n=n when the DNA replicates it duplicates the number of chromosomes and when meiosis occurs it leads to a haploid number of chromosomes
  • With crossing over, deletion, non disjunction, ect. there is no formula. The answer isn't an infinite number nad would be finite. Are we talking about phenotypicals or genotypical differences?
  • 2 to the power n so a pea for example has 7 chromosomes, therefore it can have 128 different gametes (not including crossing-over etc), i.e. 2x2x2x2x2x2x2!
