For those who practice Wicca. What color candle correspond to the North,South ,East,West ? Working all four corners. I have seen conflict data and am confused.

Traditionally, the cardinal directions (quarters) are associated with the colors and elements in the following way: North - Green - Earth East - Yellow (or VERY light blue) - Air South - Red - Fire West - Water - Blue This is what you will find in the older initiatory traditions (Gardnarian, Alexandrian, Isian). However, some traditions, covens, and practitioners change the association so that it is more meaningful to them. For instance, Water is in the West from a standpoint of Britian and Europe; however, from a standpoint of the Eastern US, one might legitimately believe it belongs in the East.
