  • Saltwater fish sometimes do. They are known to drink water. Freshwater fish do not; they absorb enough water through their gills to keep them optimally hydrated. This is likely due to the differences is osmotic pressure between fresh water and salt water, but I'm not 100% certain it isn't some feature of evolution.
