Yes: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania. There's also a capitol territory and a northern territory. Easier to remember than the US states.

Yes 6 states and 2 Territory's , The difference between a state and Territory no one knows. I lived in the Northern Territory for a couple of years last century I never worked out the difference between a state and Territory. There is something wrong with 85% the people in the ACT,. A well used Aussie phrase is go home you Mexican or thats a crap job get the Mexican to do it. As Mexicans come from south of the border what state do I live in? Jenny The Great ⭐ Thanks for sharing! Mexicans are a lot smarter than you think. They will do the crappy jobs temporarily, save money and afterwards, what they have learned - they're already owning their own businesses. That's called working yourself from the bottom and moving yourself up. -

11stevo73 I thought we were talking about Australia? Why would I bash real Mexicans I don't think I've ever meet one. You're profile doesn't say what your business is, What real world service do you provide, 50 employees would piss me off I was once a supervisor with that many employees or there was only that many left after I got hired to get rid of half of them. Most of them probably hate my guts. As I'm from Victoria and spent a fair bit of time in Queensland where they call Victorians Mexicans was what I was telling you about Australia ,useless trivia.

Jenny The Great ⭐ I am actually asking a question about Australia. Does the country have states or not is a reasonable question, unlike many nonsensical and outrageous questions you see on Answerbag. You came here to this subject and questioned me about Mexicans, which is irrelevant. But knowing me and as much as I like to argue for the sake of argument, I explained, Mexicans are hard working people. That's living the American Dream when one works extremely hard and saves money to achieve goals. What I do for a living is also irrelevant with Australia. I was able to let you know to look in my Answerbag profile. If you take your time like I mentioned, you will see in my profile what I do for a living.
