Eddie Murphy is a renowned actor and comedian with a long career. He took 6 years off from acting. The reason so, he said in a 2021 interview on WTF with Marc Maron: "I was making these s***ty movies, It was like, this s*** ain't fun." I think he is still funny when he wants to be.
