I was on meds during most of his presidency. I'm not the only one he terrified the bejesus out of me,especially when he called the press the enemy of the people.

Um I paid zero taxes except sales tax and since I'm poor that would be far less than what I was given to live on. Um none was sent to either. Um I don't pay taxes so I don't feel entitled to a refund. All I can say is I guess its too bad you're not as poor as I am.

Oh, he won't have to murder anyone himself. He doesn't have to tell anyone to murder. He just has to say something like, "We are being so nice to those people who voted against us by not resorting to violence. Okay. It's an incredible amount of restraint. Those people should be appreciative of our restraint..." and his most vehement followers would just do the rest. And, in that scenario, all Trump would do is wait until they were done killing before speaking out about what they did, and then he'd just gloat about how he condemned the violence without mentioning the week it took him to do so. And if the media reported about it, he would just say "fake news" and probably say something like "You know, it's like we've been fighting the fake news media who hates us with our hands tied behind our backs all of this time. The far-left wing fake news media should just take a moment to appreciate how we haven't actually tried to fight them with all of our might just yet and maybe they should realize what would happen to them if we decided to fight for real." or something like that, and then you and I both know what would happen next. But, ... you know what, Trump really can't be close to being the only one to blame for this situation. This is what grew in our garden after decades of stupid policies, like cutting US education, sending our boys to go fight in pointless wars, closing down mental health facilities, stigmatizing mental illness to the point where no one will bother to ask for help (and even if they do, there is scant any help to be provided), declare "war on drugs" whilst the authorities facilitate the illegal drug trade for profit, declare "war on terror" whilst facilitating extremism and profiting off of it, eroding the American middle class to the point where the median family cannot afford the median home, criminalize homelessness, etc. We've been brewing this concoction of desperate and frustrated people for over a generation now, and we expect something different than the rise of extremism in our own country?

It's not rhetoric, it's exactly the sort of thing that already happened during the January 6th insurrection. As for the democrats, they are even more to blame than the republicans for all of the recent problems our country faces. But that's only because they've held the power more often. Both democrats and republicans are essentially just the red and blue halves of the same poison pill we're expected to swallow. I just don't understand why so few people can see that, since it's so blatantly obvious. I guess it's just our culture's almost universal addiction to consuming mass media and allowing it to control our decisions. The whole, "but Billy did a worse thing than me" excuse didn't work when we were kids, so, why, whenever one party nerfs up and people end up dead, do the political arguer people always step up and say "but the other party..." as if that somehow makes anything better?!
