If climate change is predicted to melt ice and flood low lying levels then why is the value of island property GOING UP?

Sometimes geography is ironic. For example, there's an Island in the South Atlantic called Inaccessible Island due to the fact that it has extremely steep cliffs jutting straight out of the water, making it inaccessible by any craft other than helicopter. Yet it is far too remote to reach by helicopter unless you take a boat with a helicopter on it. And still, the UK government, who claims it, declared the island a nature sanctuary to deter tourists from visiting. As if people were flocking to visit it before the declaration...

Those with enough money to by it or want it don't believe in climate change.Then they'll get a tax write-off when it is destroyed by a natural disaster.
