  • All verses are my favorite. They all have truth.
  • Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
  • LEVITICUS 18:22 “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.”
    • Thinker
Do you know this verse is not about homosexuality per se? If you read the whole section, you will understand it is about pagan worship where men dressed as women have sexual relations. Yahweh, God, is telling the Hebrew peoples to not follow the worship as done by the pagans who lived and had their kingdoms all around them. I might also add it is about the abomination of pederasty.

Take what he says through a filter, stevo. I don't believe everything this man preaches. He looks for obscure religious teachings that promote his lifestyle and considers them gospel. He once told a child that it is acceptable to have sex with your own mother. (Forbidden somewhere in Lev. but "Thinker" doesn't believe the old testament applies after the crucifixion and resurrection.) I was incensed at the indoctrination into sexual deviance, but have realized that everyone is entitled to their opinion. But if I ever hear of a child being molested I will physically interfere if I can and kidnap the child myself if I have to to get them away from any predator. I will stop before taking a life, but I will do my very best to make sure the pedophile is stopped from harming any more children. I'm very proud to add that, with much help from God, I have forgiven my molesters and wish healing for them. I pray everyone will allow The Spirit to guide them and not other people. Humans are biased The Spirit never lies.
  • Revelation 21:5.And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. KJV. This is my very favorite Bible verse, because it confirms and validates my trust in Gods word, also all the promises expressed in it, for instance in verse 4 which says, "and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away". ASV. This is not the only scripture that has made similar promises, but the fact that God said in verse 5 that "these words are faithful and true" NWT well it's like when a trusted friend says; I'll take care of it, you can count on me. So that is why Rev. 21:4 is my favorite verse. Thanks for the question, if you would like more info about my favorite Bible verse or any other Bible topic please look into the free site JW.org.

Other than the fact I don't consider NWT The Bible I liked this answer up until you slapped the spam on the end of it.
  • "Who knows? He may turn and relent, and may leave a blessing behind Him —so there may be a grain offering and a drink offering for Adonai, your God " Joel 2:14 "Tree of Life" Holy Scriptures.
  • I have many many favorite Bible verses that come to mind from time to time when prompted. Because I have a high IQ, and I've survived Navy boot camp AND CANCER, sometimes I struggle with humility. So I'm often being reminded of Romans 3:10 and 3:23 Saying there is not one among us who is without sin... And For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. After prayer I've also been blessed with good recollection of my many sins. Humility is not hard after recalling all one's sins. Scripture helps keep me balanced. I'm happier and I like myself better when I mind The Bible. But I've also been blessed with flaws to overcome during my journey. That keeps me humble, too. I could list a lot of other influential and favorite verses, but your question seems singular and I tend to run on enough as it is.
  • A favorite passage in light of understanding how to live in the center of God's will is I Timothy 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." Realizing that God intensely wants His people to know His Word, including further teaching for those already knowledgeable, gives us great certainty. We can be settled in our hearts and have perspective in our lives, even amidst the many pressures, struggles, and uncertainty in the world.
  • John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
  • Or shall not become a minister in the church if your testicles are crushed.
  • Revelation 1:8 "I Am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Christians believe that Jesus Christ is going to come back, and when it happens, everyone will know about it.
  • When God quotes Popeye, I am that I am.😄
  • 1 Timothy 3:15 "the Church is the pillar and foundation of the truth." 8/8/23
