The reason the Sudetenland was allowed to revert back to Germany was that the region was demographically German that had been separated from Germany as part of the terms of the Versailles Treaty. Czechoslovakia was nothing more than a conglomerate of regions that were formed to make up one country - which had strong Communist influences. The people of the Sudetenland were being persecuted because they were Germans. Annexing them into Germany was for protection - the same as Austria and Danzig. UK's Prime Minister Neville Chamberland successfully negotiated the annexation at the Munich conference and returned home a hero for avoiding a war (it's the job of a country's leader to maintain peace). Churchill, on the other hand, didn't want peace. He was a warmonger who condemned Chamberlain. Churchill had a strong influence on Britain's government and it was he who was responsible for Chamberlain's unpopularity and ultimate downfall. And it was he who pressured Britain into manipulating Poland into provoking the German attack in 1939 so that Britain would be justified in declaring war on Germany.

The West is known for taking what they want and declaring war on anyone who opposes them. This is a prelude to the NATO countries declaring war on Russia.
