Football? Sort of. My husband watches, so I end up watching at least parts of it by default. I can read a book while occasionally glancing at the screen and not lose the thread of the plot or miss any important action. Football games are about a whole lot of nothing happening anyway, most of the time.

Not religiously. I will watch if friends are watching. Soccer just isn't a very good spectator sport. The World Cup is moderately interesting because it taps your nationalistic impulses, but ultimately, it's boring. Ever see the famous Simpsons clip where they contrast the US announcer and latin broadcaster announcing the same game? That's how I feel about soccer. It's a whole lot of nothing happening. But hey, if it's a thing you love, more power to you. We don't have to all love the same stuff.
