• Spirituality and religion according to what people say is what they believe and Spiritual is of the Holy Spirit. But you can say spiritual as the human spirit. That's my definition for an answer and can differ from other's points of view.
  • I am a Seventh-Day Adventist. We strongly believe the true church is built from within. (1 Corinthians 6:19) This gives us "religious freedom," unlike organized Religion which is based on ignorance, power and control. There is no such thing of worshiping God at a certain church on Sunday's. Many churchgoers will tell you this from their superstitious tradition. 1 Kings 8:27 "But will God indeed dwell on the Earth? behold, the Heaven and Heaven of heavens cannot contain You; how much less this house that I have built?"
  • Belief in ghosts vs true faith!
  • In spirituality we are aware (hopefully) of our inner energy, of our spirit within...... aware of life as a flow of energy within all life, and aware of our consciousness...... Through a spiritual pursuit we can become aware of the upper levels of consciousness..... Which is Christ Consciousness..... .... Religion keeps one in the thought process...... No amount of quoting scripture will give one a direct experience of God.....Religion will keep one in bondage to it's belief.... while circling around the truth, which is that God exists within you as you, and can be known and experienced. One will not get this experience through a belief system..... Through religions we hold onto belief.... not ever getting into knowing..... Through Meditation and a spiritual lifestyle we can have that direct experience of knowing instead of believing.

Quote: "No amount of quoting scripture will give one a direct experience of God." This is a blind remark. For your information, God is a Spirit. (John 4:24) I have a direct experience with the Holy Spirit by acknowledging that All-Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is useful for teaching, for reproof and for correcting in order for the man or woman of God to be equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
