How long do leftovers stay in your fridge?
Three days and done? When it starts to smell funny? When it starts growing fur? When you can no longer identify what it is? Or do you still taste it then? Really laughing now!

7-5-2017 There are no leftovers. I have about four dozen Zip Loc disposable cups with lids. Hot food is divided into servings and capped immediately so it will keep until I get a round toit.

Linda Joy I do that with meat. Cook it portion it, only I use bags, and freeze it. My fresh veggies and fruits are more vulnerable. -
wiseacre You remind me of how I used to do the same thing with pot roast and should really get back to doing that again.

i never cook so if i eat something i heat it up and eat the whole thing, i just get stuff thats small so i dont have to eat a lot of it

It all depends on what is what about it. I make 5 fruit smoothies for myself, put them in the fridge and have one every other day, where for the fruits, about 4 days is just right. Meats are just better if gotten to before the 2nd day ends. Remember, mold is edible, just don't have too much. all things in moderation.

I don't have leftovers, per se, but foods do stay in there until they stink. I can't cook, and the rule is, never eat anything that smells bad.

no more than 3 days intentionally except for acid things like cranberry sauce.. But I did find a small fuzzy grey/green grapefruit quietly hiding out under a prescription medicine bag in the bottom drawer of my fooderator last week. I have no idea how long it had been resting there but when i touched it with a paper towel it puffed out a smokey grey cloud so i had to clean out the fridge & spray it down with lysol while constantly sneezing with tears running down my cheeks.
