  • My mother fixed a lot of spam during WWII. Back then you could get it in 5 and 10 pound blocks. She could fix it really good using cloves and other spices. I still like spam today and eat it when necessary. We could eat spam for several days when my mother fixed it. As I recall it was not rationed like meat and other things were during the war.
