  • No, it means I have to shop for clothing.
    • Linda Joy
Not necessarily. I usually just wear the clothes I wore the years before.
    • Army Veteran
Sounds like Boola Boo can't do that --- LOL.
  • hate summer :(
    • Death's daughter
      Me too
    • Linda Joy
It can get quite hot here sometimes, but most places have air conditioning. Why do you dislike it?
    • Jewels Vern
Because you have to waste your money on air conditioning instead of buying liquor and dames!
    • Skunky Stinkerson
i hate wearing less clothings. if i weren't so self conscious. i probably would like the summer -_-
    • Linda Joy
Who cares what others think? Do what's comfortable for you!
    • Linda Joy
Jewels, you can always hang out at the library and use their air conditioning! I used to walk to the library every day!
    • Jewels Vern
I am not in town. I run my own library and it is not air conditioned.
    • Linda Joy
Didn't you say you lived in Arizona? That's ridiculous not to have air conditioning in a library in Arizona!
    • Jewels Vern
Linda, it's ok to make assumptions, except don't assume that the whole world complies with them. My library is a steel tool cabinet in the front yard and it is filled with kid's books for the neighbor kids to have reading material. There is a bench and umbrella and that's it. Arizona is certainly the cooler capital of the world, but many houses have swamp coolers instead of ac. My house has two window acs but I don't run them all the time because they are rather expensive.
    • Linda Joy
It's awesome you do that for the kids!
    • Army Veteran
LJ - Hanging out at the library? LOL. So he gets the air conditioning for free...you can't drink liquor there, and his prospects for a one-night stand are pretty slim.
    • Army Veteran
It's easier to cool off in the summer than it is to warm up in the winter. Cooling off is as simple as jumping into a cold shower. When your fingers are freezing and numb in the winter, holding them over a heat source takes a lot longer - and then there's the pain involved when the feeling starts coming back.
  • Hell yeah !! I live for the summer months.
    • Linda Joy
What do you do in summer you can't do in winter?
    • Ice man
Ride my motorcycle, camping, skinny-dipping, piss on my neighbor's flowers, etc,etc.etc. The list is endless. : )
    • Linda Joy
I can see where those would all be summer activities.
    • Linda Joy
Have you gotten your bike out yet or is it still too cold?
    • Ice man
I've been out a few times already, it's getting warm enough to keep the chaps in the saddle bags.
    • Linda Joy
I'm glad you're enjoying your summer!
    • Ice man
Thank you. It's raining today ... so that means it's laundry day, while I wait for the sun to return.
    • Linda Joy
In this heat the best time to turn on the dryer is when I'm not home!
    • Azlotto
      Hello, bro.
    • Ice man
Hi Azlotto, long time no see. I just got home and saw the AB email notice ... figured I'd stop by, for a few minutes, and say Hi. Hope you are well.

    • Linda Joy
      Probably! Lol
  • I am looking forward to getting my man-boobs out and pointing them at the Sun.
    • Mr PantsFellDown
lol. What did the sun ever do to you?
    • beaker95
Whenever she turned her steep focus to me, I felt the warmth that flowers must feel when they bloom thru the snow, under the first concentrated rays of the Sun.
    • Linda Joy
      (Looking wistful)
    • Army Veteran
Control yourself, LJ - I'm sure you've seen man-boobs before...at your age. LOL

I've definitely turned my ac on. Weather says its 89F mostly sunny feels like 92F. Don't know how they figure that, but its hot out there! It didn't seem terribly difficult to breathe this morning, but its predicted to reach 91F today. I'll let you how it goes! I think they're predicting rain for Memorial Day. Figures! They usually open the pool on Memorial Day.
