When I was in prison, many rivers ago, I had to pee in a plastic bedpan. I did not clean it as such, just a quick swill around and hey presto, ready for the next occasion..... -

Yeah, it did look pretty well badly stained after three years. Kinda greenish brown and coated in mould. I might have contracted my diseases from there, come to think of it. How long is too long, to sue the prison authorities.....? -

I worked in a nursing home for a while but we cleaned them! It was very rewarding work and I don't think demeaning because we gave care and brought comfort but definitely messy! Especially when a virus broke out and they were spewing from both ends. I'm very thankful I never had to remove an impaction! I only 'assisted' which means really I just learned and gagged! -

I remember reading about Ghandi cleaning his own toilet. His wife was angry (her being from the highest caste) at Ghandi a lawyer(in South Africa) doing the work of an untouchable. He was a caste-buster. -
